‘Wheel of Fortune’ host Pat Sajak ripped on social media for photo with Marjorie Taylor Greene

A photo of longtime “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak with Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has surfaced, and people on Twitter are fuming. The photo, which was apparently taken earlier in the month, went viral on Twitter. It was re-shared and criticized by a Twitter account for “exposing right-wing extremism” and other threats to democracy. “
One wrote, “Pictured Pat Sajak, Vanna whitesupremacist,” referring to Sajak’s “Wheel of Fortune co-host, Vanna ,, while another tweet said, “Pat Sajak is always been a far right lunatic I’m certainly not surprised.”
Additionally, members of academia and a former political candidate for office offered their take on the Sajak photo and whether they believed it to be a revelation or not.

Temple University Professor, Marc Lamont Hill, shared his disgust, writing, “First Chuck Woolery. Now Pat Sajak. Are all game host trash? Chuck Woolery, the original host of Wheel of Fortune, has been criticized for his political views.
Diana Gonzalez was the Director of Media Relations at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine. She stated that she will not be watching “Wheel of Fortune”. She tweeted, “The company that you keep is quite unfortunate @patsajak. (Sic) I will be changing the channel when the wheel spins. “
After a recent interview in which he stated that “the end was near”, Pat Sajak has fuelled retirement rumors.
Former U.S. House of Representatives candidate Johnny Akzam seemed confused about why the photo was garnering such an intense reaction, writing, “This isn’t news. It is well-known that Pat Sajak loves conservatives. Don’t watch the show. But, he’s about retire and you’re late by more than half of my life. “
Sajak, who has hosted the game show since 1981, recently opened up about a potential departure and retirement.
Other users were less critical of the TV personality for his photo appearance with Greene.

Another individual came to the defense of the 75-year-old, tweeting, “Cancel Culture is completely out of control. The latest victim …….PAT SJAK! “
Neither Sajak nor Greene have commented on the photograph going viral.
