Sen. Cotton praised for annihilating woke Kroger CEO seeking GOP help against Dems: ‘Go woke, go broke’
Conservatives praised Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark). , was filmed dressing down Rodney McMullen, Kroger CEO, in a viral video. In the clip, Cotton slammed McMullen for asking for GOP support against his plans to regulate his company following the recent silence of conservative employees.
The video, taken from a Nov. 29 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, featured Cotton blasting McMullen for seeking his help to block Democrat lawmakers from hampering its merger with the Albertsons grocery store company.
Cotton expressed disinterest in aiding Kroger, particularly after it was sued in Arkansas by two former employees who refused to wear aprons that supported the LGBTQ community. Fox Business reported.

Cotton addressed McMullen, stating, “You know, this situation reminds me a little bit of the situation Big Tech companies have found themselves in recent years. They fear regulation from our Democratic friends or action by the Biden Administration and have come to Washington to seek help from Republicans, who are more supportive of free enterprise. “
“I have warned them for years that if conservatives and center-right votes are silenced… if they discriminate in their company, they probably should not come and ask Republican senators for water whenever our Democratic friends want them to regulate them or block them from merging,” he said.
