John Aylward, ‘ER’ actor, dead at 75

John Aylward, best known for his roles in the medical drama “ER” and “The West Wing” has died at 75.
Aylward, his friend and agent Mitchell Stubbs shared with Fox News Digital that he died Monday at his Seattle home from natural causes. Mary Fields, Mary’s wife, first alerted him to the news.
“John is a wonderful actor who was a great friend to many. Stubbs shared that he was proud of his television and film work, but that his life in the theatre was where his heart was most at peace. He was a good man. “

Aylward was a graduate of the University of Washington’s actor’s training program in 1970 and went on to form the Acting Space Theatre in 1973.
