Drake dropped in on an unexpected interview with Jack Harlow at the 2022 Kentucky Derby — and drunkenly teased the crew behind the camera, when they signaled to wrap up the take — during a live NBC broadcast on Saturday (May 7).

The pair are said to be on the scene to film Harlow’s “Churchill Downs”, featuring Drake. Drake, which appears on the Louisville native’s just-released Come Home the Kids Miss You album.

” I had to be there. Drake stated that Drake was proud of the appearance he made at the annual horse race.

” And we’re drunk,” Drake said, before correcting himself. “He’s sober.” I’m drunk.”

The two were asked if there was a horse in their race. Drake smiled and said, “We got lots going on .”

” We were forced to make an effort, on the one-and-only Happy Jack,” Harlow said. Drake agreed.

“He’s really giving me a good description about how I feel right now,” Harlow said. “[If there] was Happy Aubrey. We’d run that too .”

As Drake continued to converse, he noticed that production was trying to end the conversation with an interview segment.

” You can’t give it a wrap it up signal,” said he. “What are you going to do with it?” A shot of like, poorly manicured grass, or something?”
