SAN FRANCISCO — Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry participated in a team practice Wednesday for the first time since straining his left foot on March 16.
According to Warriors coach Steve Kerr, the practice consisted of situational prep work for the Warriors’ upcoming series against the Denver Nuggets, shooting drills and skill work.
“He stated that he felt good.” Kerr said. “Now we have to see how he feels tomorrow and we’ll reevaluate tomorrow. “
Curry is expected to be there as the Warriors scrimmage on Thursday. This is a critical step for Curry as Kerr stated that it would be irresponsible for him to play in a game before scrimmaging.
“He looks good to scrimmage today,” Kerr stated. “Then we’ll move on to the next step. “
“His condition should be good. It’s not just the training staff that makes the decision based upon their evaluation of him. “
