These are employees of the executive branch – the Office of Professional Responsibility. They are classified under the executive branch. These investigators were forced to investigate because of the president’s statements. And I promise you, we will vigorously defend these allegations against these agents. We know they did nothing wrong. It was a powder keg. We know they were sent there to perform a specific job. They’re now being vilified. This is President Biden using his political powers to go after what he perceives as political enemies. This should never happen in this nation.
