All XFL games to air on ESPN, Disney platforms

The multiyear agreement that the XFL has with Disney will see all regular-season and playoff games air on ESPN and other Disney networks. It was announced Tuesday.
The announcement was made at Disney’s upfront party. It revealed that 40 regular season XFL games will air on ESPN, ABC, and FX. The deal also includes content rights to Disney’s digital and social streaming outlets like ESPN .
The eight-team XFL will be back under new owners Dany Garcia and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, along with Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital Partners. The partnership agreement between the XFL and the NFL was reached in February. It will be focused on innovation programs and protecting players’ health.
” This is a decisive moment for the XFL, and the beginning of an amazing, long-term partnership with the league, building upon my longstanding, very successful legacy relationships I’ve had throughout my career with Disney,” Johnson stated in a statement.
