POSITION OPENING: ASSISTANT STRATEGIC INNOVATION MANAGER
San Francisco, CA – April 1, 2008: The Center for Culinary Development (www.ccdsf.com) is a well-respected strategic culinary innovation company located in San Francisco. For 15 years, CCD has partnered with Fortune 100 food and beverage manufacturers and restaurants to create breakthrough new products. Our staff includes creative, culinary, and marketing professionals who share a passion for food.
CCD is seeking a full-time Assistant Strategic Innovation Manager (equivalent to a traditional ad agency Assistant AE or client-side Assistant Brand Manager) to join our Client Services Team.
This polished, articulate individual will report to the Strategic Innovation Manager and will be responsible for managing internal team processes and scheduling, handling competitive analysis, identifying innovation opportunities and supporting the team in all aspects of our innovation methodology.
Strong communication, organizational, presentation, writing and time management skills are necessary to steward each innovation project through completion. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self starter, team player and problem solver with a well-developed sense of humor. This person will also be required to motivate, inspire and collaborate closely with research, creative and culinary team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 to 3 years experience in a traditional ad agency account management on a CPG account or in CPG brand management
- Passion for innovation and food
- Proven ability to lead teams, trouble-shoot, manage details, juggle projects and thrive under pressure
- Fluency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the Web
- Experience with both Mac OS-X and PC platforms
- Bachelors of Art or Science, with international marketing a plus
