David has run the kitchens and cooked in restaurants in New York, San Francisco, the Napa Valley, London, in Provence, and in many of Italy's famous regions and is a consulting chef for Windstar Cruises. He is the author of the acclaimed culinary travel memoir Mediterranean Summer, published by Broadway Books. As a television culinary producer, he has worked alongside some of America's most celebrated chefs including Jacques Pepin, Jose Andres, and Michael Chiarello. He is the founder of VOLOCHEF® Culinary Solutions, a food and media multi-service provider, and lives in San Francisco.
