Mexico-born chef Gina Pacheco currently directs and stars in La Cocina de Gina, a cooking show with Televisa, the largest Spanish-language media company in the world. La Cocina is transmitted to over 20 Latin American countries, reaching close to 18 million homes. Professionally trained at the Universidad Iberomericana in Mexico City, as well as the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Gina specializes in food and wine dynamics. She was formerly the executive chef at Il Posto in Mexico City and ran a successful catering company. She previously shared her unique perspective on international cuisine as host of a weekly Spanish-language cooking segment for Univison.
